La nueva ropa de carretera Trek se centra en la sostenibilidad, el ajuste a medida y la funcionalidad diaria

Trek está volviendo al juego de la ropa y saltando de nuevo a un nivel superior. Esta nueva ropa Trek (ya no tiene la marca Bontrager) busca desafiar las líneas de primer nivel en opciones de ajuste y telas sostenibles. La nueva línea de ropa busca separarse del pasado con menos desperdicio de materiales, menos empaques y una sensación de conducción de clase mundial.

La primera pregunta que me viene a la mente es, ¿por qué Trek? La línea es más personalizada y un poco más enfocada en la calidad superior que la ropa Bontrager de antaño, aunque usan algunas de las mismas convenciones de nombres conocidas de Bontrager, como RSL, Velocis, Circuit y Solstice. Para combatir los residuos que productos como este tienen en el planeta, Trek ha incluido materiales reciclados en el 100% de la nueva línea vial. Al hacer esto, afirman haber ahorrado casi 46 toneladas de desechos en vertederos.

Trek también cambió el empaque de grandes etiquetas colgantes a contenido 100% reciclado más pequeño que cuenta con la certificación del Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). Eliminaron casi 400 libras de laminados de plástico, solo de las etiquetas colgantes de camisetas y pantalones cortos en comparación con los modelos anteriores. ¿Recuerdas todas esas tontas etiquetas colgantes de tecnología de gamuza? Esos también se han ido y, al hacerlo, se han ahorrado más de 750 libras de papel.

Hemos visto este movimiento hacia envases más sostenibles y compostables con varias marcas más pequeñas. Y es bueno ver que una gran marca como Trek también se sube a bordo.

Los nuevos culottes y culottes Trek llegan con una badana Inform rediseñada, descendiendo de los niveles Pro, Elite y Comp en la línea Solstice. Lo que diferencia de un modelo a otro es la tela, la compresión y las pinzas. Las opciones de color para los pantalones cortos son todo negro o azul oscuro profundo: clásico y debe combinar con la mayoría de su equipo. Las nuevas camisetas Trek tienen dos historias; ajuste y construcción actualizados Y tejido elaborado a partir de botellas de agua de plástico recicladas. Cada maillot varía en su contenido de material reciclado, y llega hasta la cima.

El maillot Trek RSL cuenta con un 95 % de poliéster reciclado posconsumo y un 5 % de elastano reciclado preconsumo en el tejido principal. El maillot Trek Solstice está fabricado con poliéster 100 % reciclado.

El material reciclado y el elastano no parecen afectar el ajuste ni la función, especialmente en el maillot Trek RSL.
